Keep up with the McLaughlins!
TJ & Carol McLaughlin are working through the Church Planter Residency Program under the authority of the North Central Collective guided by their local church, Bethany Bible Chapel. During this process, they will be training for specific ministry areas within the context of a church planting team in north central Massachusetts, fundraising for that training and their future work in church planting, and sending updates on their progress.

Our Ministry Goals
TJ & Carol have been engaged in church planting efforts together since shortly after their 2011 wedding, and have served in three church planting teams in that time. With this history, a call to full-time ministry, and a heart for seeing God glorified through the work of establishing churches in under-reached areas, they have been set apart to prepare for a new church planting effort within the North Central Collective. While they, as a family, will be preparing to be a welcoming household equipped to glorify God within their local community, TJ & Carol are being specifically trained in the following ways:

TJ: Systems for Ministry
TJ has been identified as a potential leader with a gifting and heart that sets him on a track for developing systems, teaching processes to others, and writing systematic documents. This has seen use within the North Central Collective through his work writing the NCC Bylaws and developing the SPADE church-based leadership development process in cooperation with the NCC Board. He currently serves at The Chapel by playing bass in the music team, preaching, and working as the administrator in one of the Chapel's Acts 2:42 Families. He is currently enrolled in the Antioch School.
Carol: Support the Hurting
Carol has been identified as a potential leader with a gifting and heart that puts her on a track for counseling ministries, especially those offering support to children and hurting women. Her work through the Church Planter Residency Program includes training and certification to serve as a counselor. She currently serves at The Chapel by running the sound board, singing in the music team, and volunteering in the youth group and children's ministries.
